Gearbox Fault Park Lock Failure

So when I've been pressing park, every now and then there's been a bit of hesitation before it engages. Today this started showing up. Traction light on because I had turned off traction assist.

I press P it goes to N and the warning appears. If I cycle it to R and D it will go to P after a few tries. My driveway has a slight tilt and I just killed the engine in N and when I let my foot off the brake it didn't roll. When I started it back up it was still in neutral.

I've pulled the console and reseated the switch but no change.

Thoughts?

My 04 also does this from time to time, but even if the switch goes from P to N park is engaged and car won't move.
Playing with D then P finally have the P led alight.

I HAVE BEEN having same issues and it has become more frequent

I wonder if I need new parking selection switch ?
