North East Meet and Drive
Discussion
It was a great meet. 7 fantastic cars joined by a further one half way through the trip.
The weather wasn't great to start with, so special thanks and respect to those that turned up.
However as we left Weardale and dropped down into Teesdale the weather cleared for us.
We ended up by calling in at the Bowes Museum where we were invited to park right outsife the front.
A great run out made all the more special by some wonderful cars and lovely people.

Thanks Matt
We've had an invite to go up the Northumberland Coast for he next one, probably mid August to avoid the Bank Holiday.
Then I reckon it will be the turn of the glorious North Yorkshire Moors, don't you?
It was great to meet some lovely people and hopefully I'll get some more photos to put up soon.
it was an impressive convoy.

Yorkshire lad now living in CA, driving a Vantage. Still have family in Guisborough, so if I happen to be back in Blighty, I'd love to join you on a dash around the Moors (never driven a right-hand drive Aston)! Then I reckon it will be the turn of the glorious North Yorkshire Moors, don't you?

Let us know when you're over here and I'm sure we could sort something out.
Drove a Mustang around a bit of CA last year ( well you have to in SF) but I bet an Aston would have been a great drive on some of those fantastic roads.

I live in Sonoma, a few miles north of SF - let me know next time you're in town and you can try an Aston around the wine country yourself!
