Wtdoom - congratulations, nothing like the excitement of seeing your own car in build. Sometime ago you spoke about the special project. Is that this car or is that yet to come/happen? Can you tell us more?
Absolutely , aston were kind enough to send me that picture .
The other project is still a go , it may actually have become quite a big thing . I'm hoping to be able to say more soon

Great news bounce excellent to hear it is progressing and sounds like calling it a 'special project' is underselling it a bit. I will call it something more appropriate in future smile

It's taking a lot longer than I expected but if the recent development can go ahead then it's understandable . I'm actually dying to talk about this

Thanks gents , I can honestly say I haven't been so excited about a car in such a long time .
I genuinely don't remember when that was , I can't wait to drive this car .

I'm going to use it every single day I'm in the uk , snow , rain or shine

Car looks absolutely beautiful !
Wish I had the opportunity to spec one myself.
All our cars in S.Africa came ready specked.

Is that really true? Isn't Check Six speccing his V12 AMR speccing his at the moment? Why does it have to be different because people around the world spec their cars to their own needs.

Thank you , disappointing that you can't spec your own car .
I believe most ferraris in America (Florida at least) have the same kind pre specced cars issue

Is it a Vantage Zagato (introduced 2012 limited to 150)?

If so, presumably they must be still taking orders.

Standard black finish mr kbooker.
I'll be using them for the winter tyres and putting a set of amr ones on for the summer

Unfortunately not - it looks like a Vanquish Zagato.

Am I the only one to find the earlier Vanatage Zagato more stunning even if slightly over-egged with the spoiler? From what I understand, they didn't sell them all (around £400k a pop when new, IIRC?) with around 60-70 finally made. Considering the Zig and Zag racers, they also have very solid heritage.

For me it's the dream AM. Sadly likely to remain just that...
