What makes the "damson" bit any difference to the "black" part of the interior?
Black damson is the complete colour name, and not necessarily a duotone black interior with separate damson pieces of leather. Looks nice on the configurator. Perhaps RichardAP could show us a photo ? Octavarium said:

So for those asking some pictures of the Black Damson interior. It looks quite bold in the pictures, but is definitely not as bright in person and tbh my wife loves it.
It also makes a nice change to black.
Thank you for posting the pictures. As I suspected - it looks very niceIt also makes a nice change to black.

The damson is a great choice - not sure it would be one for me but it definitely makes the interior more special. I think the white exterior with the black roof works really well.
I don’t think either of us would have been brave enough to spec it from new, but as you say when you see it in person it does make it feel more special, so it was an easier choice buying used.Looking at the pics of RichardAP’s car also reminded me of another debate. What are people’s preferences for the headrests on the DB11 ? I have stitched Aston Martin wings which I really like, I see he has embossed AMR which also makes sense. The option that somehow seems wrong to me is having DB11 stitched or embossed on the headrest for some reason. I am not sure it is rational but it somehow jars with me. Other than a few launch edition cars ( I guess when it was a new model it made some sense) I hardly see any with DB11 on the headrests. Is it just me or how do other people feel ?
I would guess the Damson colour looks different in the flesh.. more toned down? Although it would not be for me I agree that the two tone interiors and added quilting (perforations or brogue) with highlight stitching certainly further lifts the interior to another level, two-tone also included upgraded leather quality.
Headrest finish is all down to taste, personally I prefer the embroidered finish rather than embossed, and I’m also a fan of the wings

I have the DB11 embroidery in red against magnetic black leather, which works really nicely I think. If I was speccing from new though, I would probably go for the embroidered wings. The colour isn't to everyone's taste, and I was very unsure when I saw it at my local dealer(their demo), but it rapidly grew on me. My wife fell in love with the colour, and really enjoys our trips out, although she won't drive it
Fantastic car to drive, so smooth and comfortable. It was a Launch edition-Shanghai Fashionista model V12. I've had it for 2 and a half years and other than one of the CAT's failing the day after I collected it and some issues with the EML light coming on when it rained or after washing it ( a mode was needed to centre bonnet air vents to deflect the water!) it has been very reliable.
I don't like the tablet stuck on as an afterthought, although it works well enough for last gen and the air vent rotary knobs look very cheap, but generally, the interior is good, which is duotone, aurora blue/ivory
The car featured in CAR magazine back In January for their one year ownership slot, hence the picture at Goodwood, as their photographer wanted a good background.
I cannot un-see two muscular captives, with balaclavas over their faces.
Especially when looking at the seat on the right.
