I read the thread, thanks; I currently only pulled the fuse 10 in the boot (30A) and the messages are gone... however, I can also remove fuse 69 in the cabin (5A), no problem.I have now an appointment at my AM dealer next week to replace the CRM, they have it on stock anyway.
Let's hope it goes 1/2 way to bringing back the love! Next stop, new clutch! Having had a twin plate clutch & lightened flywheel fitted to my V8VS, I would thoroughly recommend it! Bamford Rose fitted mine, but David Appleby & others also offer the service.
Even if you can't make the journey across to the UK, I'm sure they'll send the kit & you can have it fitted by a trusty local engineer.
Good luck, Keep the faith, the love will return biggrin

Yes, the clutch is a different topic but there is a German specialist in Cologne that fits the David Appleby twin plate solution for about 4,000 GBP and Cologne is only about 120 miles away...

It's actually not that bad since they're located in Brühl: https://kochsgarage.jimdo.com/ . They have moved since I had my Vantage serviced, but I'm due for another visit this year.

I’m with you on that one. I’ve had two Astons and both I fell out love with them. My wife’s old Qashqua never never goes into the garage. Only services and MOT. Brakes pads etc. my Astons always in for something. Beautiful car loverly engine. That’s where it stops shame.

... of course in Germany AM dealers are scare and specialists that offer better clutch solutions are even less widely spread so it's a major "administrative" hassle to get that fixed...
Depending on where you are, there's an Aston specialist near the Nordschleife who knows his stuff, does clutches, servicing etc etc.
