Auctioneer stated that since the catalogue was printed the car was now being sold as 'previously registered in Germany'. If there was any mention of it being either VAT excluded or VAT qualifying, I missed it.

Regardless, £300k + circa 15% of fees + VAT on the fees = the highest bidder would have ended up paying £350k
