Aston Martin Racing Clothing
Discussion
Depends.
If you wear it when you're out in the Aston then yes, a bit fanboyish and therefore: tool.
If you wear it when you're not out in the car, then are you trying to tell people you have an Aston? The fact you own an Aston would intimate that. Coz that's toolish too.
Wearing it in your own company, round the house or close group of friends, they already love you even if you are a tool. That's fine.
Funny enough, if you don't own an Aston, wearing Aston clothing is perfectly acceptable.

Quite like it. Certainly much more palatable than 99 per cent of the Ferrari branded clothing. But....
Playing golf in the summer I used to wear a (fairly discreet) blue cap with a grey prancing horse logo. Kept the sun off my bald head! My friends thought it was very sad (even though they know I own a 599), while people who didn't know me no doubt also thought it was very sad (because in their eyes I was just a middle-age Ferrari fan boy who probably drove a dull hatchback). You can't win. Best not to worry about what other people are thinking!

Am I alone in sometimes deliberately wearing clothes that my children think are embarrassing? It's half the fun of having children (well ok not half)
Ps I like the jacket, looks good
I have a Ralph Lauren casualjacket that a daughter says is " gay ".Ps I like the jacket, looks good

Now it doesn't really bother me as I'm gender fluid and I have always had an "exotic" streak when it comes to casual dressing, but what do you guys think ?

Unlike the rest of you layabouts I'm working today . . .
Working ?
You have posted on here three times during the last 30 minutes.
Don't let the boss catch you.
Oh, you are the boss.
You can tell how hard I work.
12:21pm now, and I have only just stopped for my 11:00am coffee break.
[ Mrs. May repeatedly refers to us, as "ordinary working people".
I don't mind the 'working', but why do I have to be 'ordinary'? ]

I presume the term "ordinairy" is used to describe the majority of people that have a job to support a "modest" lifestyle.
This supposedly differentiates them from those higher up the financial scale ,like you ,that earn mega bucks.
Amaus,
I have a similar jacket that my wife bought me - she asks why I don't wear it?
Like others on here have suggested: Wondering around Le Mans is one thing, Waitrose - well.
I know it's not cool as my kids don't mind me wearing it, however if I was to wear Converse trainers or anything from Superdry like them, then I would be ruining 'their' image and banished from the house if any of their friends came round.
So I'll stick to the three pairs of red trousers and multiple check shirts that I own!
BTW: I actually like the jacket and would wear it - but that's not saying much. If you're a black DJ or a golfer, you can get away with Rupert bear trousers to go with it.

Yes, sorry. I would just prefer her to say, 'working people', but perhaps that has associations with, 'we are all in this together'.
Have you noticed that the phrase, 'hard working people' is not used by politicians so much now?
That annoyed me too, because it completely ignored all those employed people who don't work hard.
Perhaps those who do social meeja, whilst at work.
Sorry that you are not able to enjoy a holiday today, Steven.
I wear a Hackett AMR top when I am driving to car events sometimes, but only if I am not driving the Aston. I occasionally get a sneering question 'so got an Aston have you?" to which I look down at the logo and say 'er.. yes'. Otherwise I have worn it at auto shows where it instantly gets me on supercar stands, not sure why...
I was in HK recently and they (Hackett) had deeply discounted AMR bags and I regretted not buying one almost immediately I left.
