My eyes have been opened to V12VS godliness...
Discussion
Went to HR Owen open day yesterday supported by AM.
Got a drive in the latest sport pack 600hp V12S , with sport shift though.
Amazing performance and sound with optional cats removed . My first drive of the V12S, like my v8 but actually easier to drive, steering lighter and more direct, brakes awesome (ceramics), and if course much faster , and that SOUND !
Now working with the "investment manager " to find the extra money for an upgrade.
Quick look on line - not sure about some of the halo options around. Would prefer green with no stripes , lipstick.

Halo scheme is stickers on the V12VS, so can just be peeled off.
Not sure what you mean by the Halo scheme on the V12VS, as no such thing that I am aware of, but the Sport Plus Pack decals are certainly not stickers - they are painted on at the factory...Only Halo schemes I am aware of were GT8 & 12

Ahh, I think that's Rob's from Preston! Absolutely gorgeous Chris, and i love the yellow highlights.
Interestingly I posted the blue one for sale in a private petrolhead group that I run on FB and someone said he'd rather have this: https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/...
Amazing to see them both, same miles, same price(ish). I pondered that I don't think you could get two more different ways to tackle the same basic idea of a supercar. The only thing they share in common is that they're RWD and have two seats!
V12 vs twin turbo V8
Front engine vs mid engine
Manual vs dual clutch paddle shift
Ali vs carbon

Funny as of lately when i have been reading through the forums i have seen a quite a few saying they prefer the AMV12VSM to the McLaren.
I certainly do.
Very different prospects I think. You could easily use the McLaren as a daily as it's as easy to drive and as comfy as a 3-Series when in Comfort.I certainly do.
The V12VSM is a far more involving beast that demands attention at all times
Interestingly when I was considering exchanging the V12V for a V12VsM I made the rounds and drove a 570GT which I could use as a daily as well. I just had a hard time with the turbo lag. I have heard the 540C is worse in that regard. Ended up keeping the V12V and got a Cayenne hybdrid daily instead - sure is a lot easier to get into
Well there are now only 3 V12VSM's left for sale on the AMused website, and one of those is the Spitfire special ed (so not really valid to count as its a special in a totally different price point) - and I don't expect to see many more ex-demo cars coming on.
Could be the time to snap up one of these amazing and future classic cars!
