Picked up my V8 manual coupe - it drives like a dream, sounds suitably meaty for a V8, and is basically perfect. Zaffre blue is stunning, and the red stripe really works. And so much carbon!! Took it straight to Goodwood on the way home - looking forward to tracking it there in the Spring
Just over a month until my build starts, not that I am counting the days! As they say “Good things come to those who wait” eventually

My car went into build first week of November. Dealer was expecting it early December. Still waiting, car seems to have vanished into a Gaydon Bermuda Triangle
I know of a V12AMR that went in to build early October that turned up at the dealer this week. There’s been some supply issues for non-halo calipers (as documented earlier in this thread) which may have slowed a few down.

My car went into build late October and arrived at the dealer w/c 18 Dec. I think 8 weeks from hitting the line to delivery is pretty standard for non-Q cars.

This was a Halo car so think the issues are across the board although I think the factory have concentrated on getting the V8 Cars out first . Worth the wait though . There’s been some supply issues for non-halo calipers (as documented earlier in this thread) which may have slowed a few down.

Stratstone has an identical car to mine (halo/Roadster), that went into build the same week as mine and it turned up pre-Xmas. Just feels a bit random
Plenty of V12's on the line 7th November.Going on to Rob’s over thread about production numbers perhaps they were holding them back to go into next years figures - now that would be a first for Aston

But I wonder how many have been delivered??

May be the case Ian, although my experience would suggest otherwise!Going on to Rob’s over thread about production numbers perhaps they were holding them back to go into next years figures - now that would be a first for Aston
Whilst my car was delivered to the dealership at the end of December, they were fine to register it in January (as an ‘18 car) as long as the warranty was triggered on the 31st December. Apparently it’s the warranty start date that allows AML to record the sale (and therefore recognise the revenue) and they were very keen for my car to count to their Dec ‘17 number

Good point Adam. Was it your dealer that wanted it for their figures or AML. Just a thought and guess we will never know.Whilst my car was delivered to the dealership at the end of December, they were fine to register it in January (as an ‘18 car) as long as the warranty was triggered on the 31st December. Got my V12 back in mid December after a few hiccups, was expecting it early Nov. Absolutely love it, the driving experience is second to none. And the Tit Exhaust is music to my ears, glad i went for it in the end. Look forward to an AMR meet up later this year chaps.
