I guess my point was that AM Cambridge are already a commercial advertiser on PH, so are ‘doing their bit’ to keep this free service going. I’d therefore assume mods are (maybe?) less likely to take a hard line on instances like this, compared to somebody taking the piss by using the forums as a free versions of the Classifieds?

I’m not saying Pete was taking the piss - I’m very aware the door pull ‘ad’ was to make a point

Equally I’m sure Simon would say he was merely posting some pictures of a car, that is related to the subject of this thread, and only proffered the price when asked!

The mods removed my first attempt to start a thread on Vanquish S Red Arrows, but on second attempt left it up after forum members defended it. I’m not sure I receive any clemency or special treatment and do try to stay within the rules. The post was relevant to the thread, but I agree I’m flying close to the sun

I was just having a laugh Adam, not having a pop. Live and let live. All sorts of people do the unofficial advertising thing all the time it seems. I enjoy Simon's posts as many others do I'm sure.

Anyway, as you bring it up, I doubt Haymarket would consider being an official advertiser as giving anyone immunity against the no advertising in forums rule. Probably will eventually post an official advert for my door pulls if they don't find a new home soon. Oops - there I go again.

Anyway back on thread - I know of three V12 AMRs that haven't been delivered (including my own) and one that is at dealers pending collection . Who else is waiting for their car to arrive because very few seem to have been delivered in a January and yet I thought some were being held at factory for New Year delivery and Q build cars would start appearing now ?
