Pretty much as before Jonby.

V12 Halo spec Roadster, AMR wheels, lightweight seats, accessory pack, wind deflector, umbrella. Succumbed to the Ti exhaust (based the GT8 it can be civilised at cruising speeds if the fuse is in).

Oh and matching luggage smile

Went for the basic Pirelli P0 tyre as I'm going to swap them straight out
will be stunning !

Jonby, I assume you have already finalised your spec and have a build date?? Don't think I saw it posted up here yet.

Not quite. Hopefully very soon

Been a long, at times (for both myself and I imagine also, the factory) frustrating, but also very exciting process. Patience is not my strongest virtue but I'm told good things come to those who wait

I'll be at the factory on Monday in an attempt to finalise the spec of mine.. Seeing that build dates are currently November onwards, it's going to be a long wait frown

Also, how are you AMR guys getting on with Q? Seems there are struggling to keep up! I'm waiting on a tiny thing to be confirmed, which I don't even see why it's Q, but it's taking weeks.

I heard they were ruling somethings out based on timings. Even on my MY17, some bits are going to have to be dealer fit as they won't be ready in time for factory fitting.

Presumably the late availability of slots for tail end MY17 production has put Q under a fair amount of pressure ? Do MY17 cars 'escape' the Q minimum spend requirement of the MY18 cars ?

They do, although after being pleased about that, I think I've probably passed the £12k anyway!

MY18 starts with AMR, whenever that is! I asked about factory fitted performance kit, but was told due to homologisaton it has to be a dealer fit in pre 18 model cars.

I did get some Q quotes (they were delayed as they had to prioritise the MY17 cars), I was looking at doing Ultramarine Black with blue carbon fibre everywhere.

But in the end opted for the halo spec (where they won't allow you to change anything with Q)

I put my Q requests in back at the beginning of June and am yet to receive any pricing.. That said, I'm scheduled to sit down with them on Monday, so they may actually just be holding it till then... We'll see.. Really hoping for a positive result on the requests.

What a great experience and day out, so a massive thanks to Mark (Bincenzo) and the team at Sevenoaks for making the arrangements. thumbup

Spent the day with Peter Coyle working on the spec and he was just brilliant. Gave me some really good ideas so now we just need to finalise and get approval for all the customisation. Marek also popped in and provided some more good input, so yeah really really happy with where we are.

I've also heard that you are very close now too, just pending a couple of decisions and approval??

It's going to be a long old wait though.

Sounds like a great day ! Yep, a few relatively minor bits to bottom out but its hopefully not going to be too long before sign off. Pete has certainly been kept busy recently
