The guy who photoshopped this deserves a designer job at Aston Martin. It looks much better than the original!Olivera said:
In true PH armchair designer style they've managed to reduce the air intake portion of the grill by about 50%, most likely having catastrophic affects on the ability to feed a large radiator and two intercoolers.
The bottom section is open as well, so it's far less than a 50% reduction. Plus, there's going to be a ton of pressure there so it's not like airflow is reduced at the same rate as the grille opening size.Robbo66 said:
The interior looks a tour de force. The exterior looks awful compared to the earlier model.
From the front, it looks like Michaels twin Brother. Who on earth signed that off.

'The interior looks tour de force.'
I thought the interior looks almost the same as the C-class taxi, which takes me to the gym.
Anyway, GOOD NEWS on the official Aston Martin website.
For the new Vantage, they have an accessories page. It is spelt ACCESSORISE and there is a price in dollars, so presumably this is for American models of the new Vantage.
Joy of joys, a 5.2 litre V12 twin turbo engine is pictured, just what we had hoped for.
Speedraser's lengthy campaign has worked. They kept that news quiet.
Wonder if it is only for USA.?

Accessorise - the verb, as opposed to accessories - the noun.
ACCESSORIES YOUR VANTAGE would be the one that makes no sense..

Other than a few bits in carbon (instead of gloss black), there's not much you can spec on a DB11 beyond this...
I absolutely despise manufacturers utterly taking the p with 'extras' price points - £1k for yellow painted AM calipers over black painted ones? There is no actual real cost to them at all here... Porsche wanted £245 for an USB slot in the back for the kids. Its contemptuous and I wouldn't pay it on principle - even if I could afford to chuck the hard earnt away! Next thing Aston will be joining the bandwagon and offering a 'sports exhaust; on a sports car for £3k extra >sorry to rant<Squaremeal said:

And the number plate hints at a V12 under the bonnet, that's even better!
This is simply brilliant and much better than the original AM design. And the number plate hints at a V12 under the bonnet, that's even better!

You are forgetting the numberplate 15% hit! Rapide Mk1 manages fine without the huge gaping grille of Mk2.
This is aesthetics not hot air issues I think

Official performance figures are:
0-60 3.5 seconds
0-62 3.6 seconds
0-62 is 3.7s on website.0-60 3.5 seconds
0-62 3.6 seconds
I now seem to be getting UK version instead of US !
Now that the Acceleration Top Trumps records are all held by Tesla, I did not expect to hear much about that anymore.
Tesla Model S P100D - 0-60 mph = 2.5 seconds.
Tesla Roadster - 0-60 mph = 1.9 seconds.
Hold on to your neck !

Spot on Rob. Can you imagine doing 30/40mph in a low gear in a Tesla and having a big grin on your face with the sound of the car. I can’t.
I know that our DD’s will probably end up being hybrids or fully electric but I would still hope to have an Aston for the weekend for as long as possible.
I would have agreed with the biggest grin comment 100% until last week. I was at traffic lights alongside a Tesla. On green we both went for it, never had a tussle with a Tesla before, at the next set of lights I’m sure he had a big grin whilst I in the V12 motor looked away as I’d been totally mullered! But yes, whilst I went nowhere fast burning fossil fuel, it sounded great, the Tesla quietly ‘whooosed’ off into the distance with absolutely no ‘theatre’. I know that our DD’s will probably end up being hybrids or fully electric but I would still hope to have an Aston for the weekend for as long as possible.
I cannot envisage ever wanting to own an electric car. Would I worry about arriving at a motorway services, only to find all the charging points occupied?
However, this video is quite entertaining, showing a Tesla competing against conventional drag racers.

All this Tesla talk, I wonder if Aston Martin can use the same business model...... $250,000 down payment for your car and take delivery in 2 years.....IF they are still in business
