An entirely different proposition to the outgoing car.
Many existing Aston Martin owners have commented about your observation, beginning on page 43 of this topic.
It will be interesting to see in the future, whether 'different proposition', results in higher or lower sales compared to the outgoing model.

Were you at AM Grange Welwyn? My son went for that test and viewing this morning...
Hi Dad, I changed my username months back! So yes, I was there this morning ;-) WRT the DB11 wheels, when the chap drove off I commented that they looked familiar, to which the salesman replied 'anything is possible'.
Everyone agreed that his spec, including the wheels was stunning - however the look in his eye perhaps suggested it wasn't the easiest request for AM to adhere to.

I haven't driven many modern cars from Stuttgart but I hope and expect it should steal many customers who want what Aston offers in a daily useable package. Trundling about through town at 30 in D, then hammering it in 'track mode' when the opportunity arises, to commuting to the office in the rain. Then when the weekend comes you can still do 'the Aston' thing we all expect.
An aside, I went to the Audi dealer up the road to eye up and R8 V10 plus for a friend afterwards, I parked up had a 2 minute nose about, and drove home. No interest in even engaging a conversation about it.
Aston is in a safe place now, in my mind.
So has anyone on here got one yet??
The new Vantage now competes with cars that blow the old Vantage away in terms of performance. As others have said, it is truly next level. Again, in terms of looks, in my humble opinion, I feel that none of the competion at present can hold a candle to the new Vantage. For my budget I simply cannot find a better sports car unless I factor in the 2nd hand market. Then things like Lambos start popping up. But then you start to sacrifce ride quality, space and move further away from the small GT concept that I'm looking for. Plus my personal preference is to buy new.
There are many potential new car buyers like myself in this market space. Those looking at AMG GT's, Audi R8's, Jaguar SVR's, 911's etc.
Overall, compared to the old model the new Vantage HAS to be superior.

"Superior" is subjective. I and many, many others would not trade in our previous-gen Vantages for a New Vantage. I would (and plan to) add one to my garage, but I don't find it superior in any way except for its updated technology and higher engine power output compared to my '07 4.3L V8 Vantages.Jon39 said:
I think it was Hilversum. I now understand, that if they perhaps have other dealer locations, their own website may include cars at all their sites.
Their website shows a picture of smart bespoke Aston Martin premises. Seems odd then from a business perspective, only to have one used car shown on the Pre-owned listing. There are only two used cars for Netherlands, but as you have explained, it is the high prices (tax presumably).

Aston needed to move into current day.

Lord knows why they released it in lime essence as the detailing looks clumsy at best on the launch car. Certainly appears to be an awful lot more going on in magnetic silver. That is the best I have seen yet.
In conclusion I think we just have to stick with the design!
It's fair to say that the Lime Essence launch car repelled a few people. In conclusion I think we just have to stick with the design!
