The Quad sports exhaust really is essential, fills out that rear panel a lot more. Interested to see what it sounds like compared to the std exhaust too. Bincenzo said:
Just seen this YouTube video, first time I’ve experienced this chap. I thought him actually quite good, and as a real Merc AMG fan he’s probably very well placed to point out the differences in character of the AML version of the engine and tech.

ETA that spec is wonderful.
Cracking review and love that interior https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=F2JaZsVoI30

Are the two smaller ones to do the the turbochargers?
The grille on the new Vantage should offer enough protection against rocks. I understand that on the AMG GTR there have been cases of rocks penetrating the intercoolers and causing them to leak since they have no grille.
Also in the picture is the active air intake used to cool the compressor side of the turbo with the silver wedge to deflect onto this area and also prevent cooling of the exhaust side which needs to remain hot.
AMG certainly know their stuff when it comes to building engines and credit to Aston for choosing them. I do wonder if Aston have improved on anything? And for those wondering, compared to conventional turbo setups this 'hot inside vee' is noticeably more responsive. Fascinating how it all works so brilliantly.

Saw one for first time in JCT Leeds.
Have to say I liked it.
Photos seem to exaggerate the nose but in real life it really works. They have nailed the design in my opinion. There is however one BIG design fault, the exhausts. A Morris Minor has a bigger pipe! Come on Aston, give it some larger bore full on mean tips.
Also had converible DB11 in there - dont know what they have done to the DB11 but they are stunning cars and sit well alongside the outgoing Vanquish.
Not sure about interiors though, components seem to lack a little quality.

The sports exhaust helps visually, but all Aston have done is not cover the actual pipes with some fake trim. If you look behind the trims on most sports cars the actual exhaust pipe is a similar diameter. Raduno said:
Three up for sale on AT, two grey one black.
Also it looks as though Andy Palmer’s personal car is being built at the moment. Lovely spec.
I believe you are wrong on this one, it's the first MANUAL PPP I was told Also it looks as though Andy Palmer’s personal car is being built at the moment. Lovely spec.
I hinted at such he liked but didn't respond and he usually responds to any questions Ive asked him (he's quite good like that). So one can only assume I was correct. if you look at the trans tunnel in photos you will see what I mean...

You could be right, but I’m not seeing anything obviously different with the transmission tunnel. If you look behind the trims on most sports cars the actual exhaust pipe is a similar diameter. Car would look better with bigger tips, at least make them the size of the ones on what seem to be on the majority of the Brand.
Many owners of the majority of sports / super, and perhaps even hyper cars, would be disappointed if the cars came with exhaust tips that were sized purely based on the performance requirement for flow. It's merely window dressing on most cars. In practice, something like a 5" exhaust tip diameter is useful when the engine's making around 2000+ horsepower, but below that, it's mostly just for show.
I'd agree though, the tips look to be dwarfed by the surrounding bodywork on the standard exhaust system, and the quad option will be popular to mitigate the issue you'd expect.

I can’t see anything different here. And there is no room for a stick in the current console.
