Many owners of the majority of sports / super, and perhaps even hyper cars, would be disappointed if the cars came with exhaust tips that were sized purely based on the performance requirement for flow. It's merely window dressing on most cars. In practice, something like a 5" exhaust tip diameter is useful when the engine's making around 2000+ horsepower, but below that, it's mostly just for show.
I'd agree though, the tips look to be dwarfed by the surrounding bodywork on the standard exhaust system, and the quad option will be popular to mitigate the issue you'd expect.
It's a fairly commonly held opinion, it's my feeling we'll see fatter exhausts on the V12 and bigger again on the AMR versions but I think it's a misstep by Aston that'll cost them a few sales, the exhausts are so disproportionate they draw the eye.I'd agree though, the tips look to be dwarfed by the surrounding bodywork on the standard exhaust system, and the quad option will be popular to mitigate the issue you'd expect.

Wow this car looks so much better in Black, very nice. I would have to do something with those exhaust tips though, sure it could be sorted.Raduno said:

I believe you are wrong on this one, it's the first MANUAL PPP I was told
I hinted at such he liked but didn't respond and he usually responds to any questions Ive asked him (he's quite good like that). So one can only assume I was correct. if you look at the trans tunnel in photos you will see what I mean...
You could be right, but I’m not seeing anything obviously different with the transmission tunnel. Maybe you could point it out?I hinted at such he liked but didn't respond and he usually responds to any questions Ive asked him (he's quite good like that). I can’t see anything different here. And there is no room for a stick in the current console.
Here you have it and remember I was the first to reveal this top secret info!

Aston Martin have something being announced next week - is that the Vantage manual?
Isn’t that to early, surely they would want a longer sales run on the first one before giving customers the choice to “upgrade?” and therefore bring on a supply of S/H cars.Unless the auto isn’t being ordered!!!

It actually looks good in Viridian Green.
Exterior styling grows on me, still don't like the interior.
Everyone seems to like the noise it makes, I don't, like he says it seems artificial, maybe it's not I don't know but I don't like the American muscle car noise which doesn't suit the Aston and the constant farts of the exhausts.
Would I swap my V12VSR for one of those?
NO WAY!

I agree, except that is defiantly not "Americam muscle car noise". Thats small block dual turbo charged sound. Aston has done a good job of disguising it. Still can't match their NA V8 or V12. No doubt it will get better in future years. Exterior styling grows on me, still don't like the interior.
