It’s not just the delivery though it’s the basic factual inaccuracy

Hi Alex.

I assume you have driven one?
Hi Nick. Good question! No never. Do they drive more compactly than they look? As mentioned, there are some 2016 examples here coming into the price range of a moderately specced new Vantage.

Go drive one, Alex.

I swapped my DBS Volante for mine. I have a major issue, I can't leave the bloody thing alone!!!

You really can hustle it along and it does not feel big at all.

Let us know how you get on.

ETA. I've not driven new Vantage and as much as I love it would not swap my Vanquish for one.

I really should. The new Vantage looks lovely but it was the design of DBS that got me really interested in AM - it's the very embodiment of AM in my opinion. The Vanquish only served to reinforce that desire. And I think winding that V12 out would be very, very satisfying!

He’s done amazingly there actually, has taken a few years to get to the number of followers he’s had. But recently he started a Spanish language channel as well which hit 1m subs in a matter of months.

Yes, his new Vantage review in Spanish (which must be his native tongue) has already over 1 million views. I think it reached that in its first week or so. For AM that's brilliant!

Just watched this Vantage review too, I think it’s Beefmeister off this thread:

I must say that highlighting the inside of the nose like that somehow changes the overall dynamic.

Has anyone seen an Aston in Spirit Silver (Q Colour)?

  • Can't find an actual photo anywhere. Looks pretty decent....

No, it’s a new colour this year apparently, I was debating it for mine. However nobody could track down a painted sample, even at the factory, so considering it’s IIRC £10k I decided probably best not to take the risk confused
When I was looking at it a few months ago, not a single car of any model line had been built in Spirit Silver yet.

Thanks for the info Venturist. It's incredible that Aston couldn't even get a sample to show you considering the massive premium!

Out of all the silvers that i've seen, I still think Lightning Silver is the best.
