Just watched this Vantage review too, I think it’s Beefmeister off this thread:

Indeed it is! https://youtu.be/_U4T3XoPpCw
I saw mention earlier that I didn’t comment on the driving dynamics. Basically this is for three reasons:
1) I filmed the whole thing myself in about 2.5hrs, very pushed for time
2) every other review goes on about the dynamics, we all know they’re amazing
3) the in-car talking section about the handling was cut off because the sodding battery died on my GoPro <facepalm>
I am used to seeing heavily disguised astons near me,but today on the way to Oxford I saw a bright green new Vantage convertible I think (the doubt is I am unaware it has been released),it was with a jaguar both on very odd number plates, not trade plates as per the usual disguised prototypes but a very long number with a couple of letters.
Vantage has been transformed into something almost fish-like, with gills (no longer 'side strakes', AM use the word 'gills' ) and little masculinity. DB11 styling was slightly off to my eyes, and new Vantage way off. Porsche manage to sell lots of not particularly good looking cars that drive and handle well so maybe AM will find their niche too. But it's a shame as Vantage is the volume model, fuelling jobs and the like...

One of the comments on https://youtu.be/_U4T3XoPpCw was asking where the cyclist went at 1:43. I can only assume he fell victim to one of the UK's larger potholes - of which there are many.I saw mention earlier that I didn’t comment on the driving dynamics. Basically this is for three reasons:

And yet nobody complains about a similar mass of buttons in the competition:I suppose it's a function of being spoilt in previous gen cars - the centre consoles on the VH cars were all quite clean and devoid of buttons (granted, earlier ones had a plethora of little ones, but it improved with time).
Buttons are GOOD! I much prefer pressing a button in an instant than fumbling around menus when driving. Aston really put a lot of thought into this as a driver's car.
However, I feel Aston could have given us more choice with the centre console finishes - how about a brushed aluminum or leather-wrapped option without having to go through Q. Does anyone know how much it would cost to have that leather wrapped?
That shot of the magnetic grey Vantage in Monaco (I assume?) looks superb.

I agree I like buttons! Its just the wierd layout in the vantage that looks awful to me.However, I feel Aston could have given us more choice with the centre console finishes - how about a brushed aluminum or leather-wrapped option without having to go through Q. Thanks! Hopefully a few more will sub **hint hint** p1stonhead said:
I actually like the button layout, it makes a lot of sense when you’re sitting there and all the buttons you use regularly fall easily to hand. J12KJR said:
He probably fell off his bike as he finally came across someone that wasn't sticking to the usual forum line about the source of the engine.
