New Vantage?

Flugplatz does look good on the new vantage
Who ever picked the launch colour wants shooting
The bonnet needs vents and quad pipes or bigger singles they look like pea shooters
It’s the first new vantage I have warmed to but I do like flugplatz !

The Flugplatz one does indeed look tasty. Best colour I've seen so far for the New Vantage. Put in a V12 (never mind a downsized turbocharged one) and some bonnet vents and it will look even more attractive, and a concealed satnav screen (but that might be too much to ask).

Yes it is just you. Put the two images next to each other - there are ZERO design elements the same. Apologies for ranting but I’ve seen it said so many times and it winds me up.

Unless you’re saying it has two headlights and a grille below centre. In which case yes, it’s identical.

Now you're talking! I thought Tang looked fantastic on the V12S but that is even better. Any pictures of the back/diffuser? Can't see anything on their website.

And you're right. The New Vantage looks absolutely nothing like the MX5. It's just one of those silly things that people say on internet forums to wind people up. Rise above

I’m with you there, and I’m internally conflicted because I love the overall package of new Vantage, the engine is technically speaking a great decision for the car and the brand as a whole, but that noise just... doesn’t get me excited, and it needs to. Thought I was alone though because all the reviews and journalists love it in Vantage and in the original AMG and apparently it’s one of the best sounding V8s on the market but for me, it does absolutely nothing at all... at McGurk’s coffee morning yesterday some of the original V8s roaring away up the road were unearthly.

I think that now almost all new petrol engines are turbocharged, we probably cannot expect the previous Aston Martin exhaust sounds ever again.
Times have changed in the motoring world.

It’s not just him , every time I look at the front I think MX5 , and the rear is too fussy for MY liking.

Not worth ranting about man , it’s all about opinions.
