Looks great, but would need the calipers a different colour as they are two different yellows

Those hood vents are a definite improvement, in fact the whole car just screams for a facelift, it's so close to being a decent looking car but it just isn't.

Someone send that pic to Andy Palmer ASAP! Well done Beefmeister. Or perhaps some graduated holes like on the V600. Now that would look really excellent.

You are very keen Alex.

Are you perhaps waiting for any initial production 'niggles' to sorted, before placing your order?

Nice Beefy, it seems the pigeons didn`t put up much of a fight...
The rather expansive yet featureless bonnet is destined for some vents in it`s future, me thinks.

I certainly am on both accounts Jon.

I am yet to decide on exterior colour, although I am leaning towards Magnetic Silver; I'm still waiting on the dealer to fly in their Lightning Silver demonstrator and contact me. However all other options are decided pending another viewing of samples etc.

It's imperative for me to have as many initial production issues sorted before purchase. Doubly so since I live a 460km round trip from the nearest dealer who has not offered any sort of provisions to assist long range customers when I asked (eg: overnight accomodation which I've been offered with another dealer etc). From my experience when something goes wrong it's always a case of 'bring it in for diagnosis first sir, then we can order the parts'.

In this price range there is not another car (to my tastes) that is superior.

Looking in the engine bay there appears to be nothing in that position that would prevent the fitting louvres. Having discussed it with someone at the factory he gave the strong impression that this is almost certain to happen with a future model.

But where is the engine, Rich?

All I can see in the photo are sheets of black plastic, rubber tubes and some silver tinfoil.

A DB2/4 Mklll has an engine which can be seen and polished.

Great thing about adding bonnet vents is that draws your eye away from the lights

Indeed, lots of Autogym black plastic dressing going to be used in that engine bay!
