I’ve got an invitation to see it at Gaydon on Sat 14 October, so the official unveiling can’t be far away.

I was in the factory on Monday, there aren’t any anywhere to be seen unsurprisingly. The mule with all the DB11 panels bolted on is parked outside, albeit behind a locked gate.

I hate to be the one not to ease your pain, but we need to hold out for a little less than 60 more days..... I was told the date by a very in the know person.
I have seen the car, albeit, not in the flesh ! She's a beauty if you're into angular design.
As stated by others, think baby Vulcan ....... or just study the patent drawings .......... or Pirelli car !

I have no doubt that in the flesh it'll be magnificent !

Hi guys, just an update that i ran the notion of proceeding with the vantage by the mrs and she's all for it since I "never spend any money on myself" and we can "use her car for baby duties and family trips".
Great news.
I'm due to go to the confidential viewing next week (thanks for offer of a lift, sadly only one ticket), anyone else on here going next week?

Well the Vulcan's not really angular is it. Lamborgini that's angular.

I guess AML do not want a repeat of what happened with the DB11. If I remember correctly, someone who had a private viewing took a picture on their phone and it appeared on line before the official reveal. So I guess this time they are preoccupied with ensuring this doesn't happen again with the new Vantage. Just as an aside, does one have to have placed a deposit or a firm order to get to see the car early? I am just curious to know how this process of "invitations to preview" works. From what I have read here, I guess the official public reveal is likely to be late November/early December?

I put a deposit down some months back which is how I got my invite...assume they may also invite long term customers, but this sort of thing is a first for me!

Haven't got an order for one...so I think its just recent patronage.

Probably will wait for the "special edition" one.... hopefully they don't do a Ferrari and make you order a normal 488 before allowing you to buy a 488S.
