There's definitely going to be a manual gearbox option.

Now on page 33 of this topic, and those of us who have not asked our dealer for a preview, know little more.

It has been suggested, I think by LBS, that the launch will be 24 - 26 November.

It is stunning, but not in the same way as the current model.

Hi Steve, I think that is the unveiling of the new Vantage at the dealership which seems to back up the other dates quoted for the national unveiling. On the AMOC site someone has quoted 21 November. It will be interesting to see - and very excited to see what it looks like.

I've not been selected to go to the private viewings, probably because as a buyer of a new V12VSRM recently there's not much chance of me getting into a new Vantage any time soon. And I haven't asked the dealership, so no complaints there. I would say though that it is a great reflection on the AM owners on the PH forum that everyone is keeping schtum as they were asked to. I cannot think of another forum where this would have been the case. I don't think for one minute it is down to fear of Aston factory retribution; just good manners. Well done all you lucky people who have seen it; the rest of us can't wait.

That's actually music to my ears , the perfect solution . An addition not a replacement

Having previously owned a V12V from when it was first launched in 2009, the most recent incarnation of the V12 failed to make me want to re-enter the scene. The new one is re-tingling those emotions.

Just ask. I am new to Aston - hope to be picking up my V8VS soon - first Aston. I just asked the dealer if he had any spaces left for the reveal of the new Vantage. He said yep. Think i was also very lucky as it was last minute for the dealer to take a particular slot & he said can you make the next day. Felt very privileged. And my first visit to the factory - felt so special. All I can say its different to the current one but in a good way.

Just to muddy the waters - I was told it would be a few days later than this and at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix confused

Think you could still be right LBS. 21st sits well with getting the car into the world press and then the physical unveiling at the Abu Dhabi GP could still happen with dealer unveiling’s shortly afterwards. So everyone is right thumbup
