Next Tuesday onwards, you will have to copy the Likely Lads. They were trying to avoid knowing a football result. Cannot remember what the twist at the end was.
The football match they were waiting for never happened due to a flooded pitch. Jon39 said:

Well anyone who doesn't get excited by that video needs their pulse checking.
I've got high hopes for this Vantage after seeing how playful it is.

You can drift the present Vantage like that .....
.... but usually only when it belongs to someone else.

A bit against the grain here, but as a Yank living in the UK, I know I will have to eventually sell the V12V when I move back. Tempting as the new Vantage will be, I’m thinking of something entirely different for my US retirement. Am putting a deposit on this for delivery in the US, likely well after 2020.

That audience. I wondered what ever happened to all the screaming morons that used to flock to the old Apple events. https://youtu.be/Gd9JQAkcYak

The adulation certainly worked for Apple.
The present TESLA share valuation, indicates gigantic profits are anticipated in the future. None at the moment, but perhaps the audience is a mystic message. We shall see in the years to come. Difficult now to imagine Ford, GM, Toyota, VAG, Daimler, all being put out of business by TESLA, but who knows what might happen.
( I get slightly annoyed by the continual 'zero emissions' claims. )

I get major annoyed the US government continually props Tesla up with BILLIONS and BILLIONS of our tax dollars. Pull their subsidies and make the succeed or fail on their own.
I do not know much about the business structure of TESLA, Andy.
It sounds as though there is more to it, than just a very wealthy man funding a new company.

I wouldn't trade my V8V for one straight across. But I have to say they becoming quite common on the road. Each to his own, but to me they are just not a special car, just a common boring car.

Right now it's $7500 federal tax credit and $2500 CA tax credit for anyone in California.

I don’t think anyone should mistake the current Tesla's as special performance cars with driving involvement like our Astons . My daily driver Model S is, however, the perfect daily driver - amazingly fast, silent and spacious - with better handling than, say, an E class.I wouldn't trade my V8V for one straight across. It’s just that as performance cars move more towards turbos and hybridization, and fast DCT gearboxes, I see them as kluge-y mongrels, without the purity of a either a truely hands-on mechanical beast, or the elegant efficiency of a simple inductive motor. I certainly wish I could keep the V12V forever, but won’t be able to when I move back to the US.
Still looking forward to Tuesday.

Just buy another when you get back to the US?
Indeed the obvious solution. When I’ve gone looking during visits I’ve come away disappointed with the condition of those I’ve found. The dealers are usually not dedicated AM houses. Also AM wouldn’t build me a left hand drive one that I could use in the UK, or at least the local dealer said so. I will certainly look before I make a final call. So far I’ve just lent Elon my deposit interest free....12pack said:

I'd imagine Works Service could be persuaded to convert your car to LHD/US spec but I shudder to think what they'd charge.12pack said:

You right, can't really compare. But there are quite a few new V12V over here on the lots still. And killer deals on very low mileage used ones. Saw one a few days ago, for $135,000 (sticker was $235,000) only 700 miles on the clock, B&O stereo, full carbon, beautiful. It’s just that as performance cars move more towards turbos and hybridization, and fast DCT gearboxes, I see them as kluge-y mongrels, without the purity of a either a truely hands-on mechanical beast, or the elegant efficiency of a simple inductive motor. But unfortunately can't order them anymore if you wanted to set up the way you wanted.
Aston's are still a rare site on the road, but Tesla's can be seen everywhere these days.

What a bargain. I wonder who has taken the loss on that (Aston, the importer, the dealer, or a first owner)?Did the manual version come to the US or all they all sportshift?

I imagine the original owner. V12V and Vanquish values plunge in the first couple of years over here, V8V much better at holding their value. This is a beautiful car. https://www.stl.cars/inventory/details/used/ASTON-...Did the manual version come to the US or all they all sportshift?
Yes I think 100 V12 manuals shipped to the US.
