Depending on what you want from a car you could be disappointed going from a 570 to a Vantage. I have both and the 570 is a much better drivers car - the Vantage is a great GT car but not a sports car in the way a 570 is.

Everything is depreciating and not moving at the moment - I’d go with the car you prefer and that excites you the most - you’ll lose money on any/all of them so better to enjoy it.

The Vantage is a very, very good car but the 570 is a great car smile
Choose wisely
I love my V8V. But there is something about a Mclaren 4C which i keep watching YT clips and read up owner reviews etc which is how i ended up with the V8V 4 years ago. Its almost like, "i have to own a Mclaren sometime in my life" itch! But the lines of my V8V wins hands down so ill stick to YT clips for now.
But if i was in a "new" Vantage then the decision would be so much easier....i would be looking at the 570 ads and measuring the garage. Common consensus is the new Vantage does not have the 2nd look over the shoulder draw the old one had and you have to admit the 570 in the right colour does look seriously good...

Pedant hat on, it’s full number is/was MP4-12C and later shortened to 12C.

And that’s not a picture of one anyway, that’s a 570S (or 540C) hehe

Thankyou!

Apologies for getting the MP412C570S P1F1 Mclaren naming convention wrong!

Seriously considering coming back to AM with a new vantage.

As a sign of the market I have been offered £30k off list on a stock car if I sign before year end,
Can you please let me know which dealership that was. I'll call and see if they can still do the deal.

thanks.

See, I now know myself well enough to know that I was in real danger of slipping down that well too.

So I ponied up for a V12VS. And that took care of me nicely!

Phone call this morning out of the blue, "how would I like to borrow a Vantage again for a few days to see how the build had improved?"..........No thanks.

You strange fellow.

“Would you like to borrow a £140,000, 503hp, V8 sports car for a few days? For nowt?”

“No thanks, because there is no joy in my life”

You’re mad. Think about it. Throw them the keys to the pick up and they would probably have detailed it.

I have joy in my life thanks....I get far more giggles out of driving this than I did from any of my 911's and certainly than I would have got from 24 hours in a Vantage.
