Still a few new ones about but they are asking silly money compared to what some have been paying in the last week or so!!!

I haven't seen many other ceramic greys (I think partly because the paint is now a Q option). I think you'll find that the "Halo" AMR will be more common as when I was up at the factory recently, all I could see what Halo's - not many had specced the other colours.
I just love the fact ceramic grey looks so different depending on the light it's in.
I also had a nightmare with delivery (no fault of the dealership to be clear) - we can share stories once yours arrives ! The wait is worth it...
just to be 100% clear, I'm only playing, a rare beast no doubt. Just that you 2 already have yours and my ceramic roadster is imminent. Well, coming sometime in the future, I think...I just love the fact ceramic grey looks so different depending on the light it's in.

It's the best colour for me.

Congrats guys - both stunning cars!
Worth noting that all the well priced V12VSM ex-demo cars suddenly seem to have gone (presumably sold) from the official AM used website. Now only 2 roadsters and the Spitfire Coupe on there and all priced very close to or even above original RRP.
For general information , Newcastle had a new ceramic grey V12S manual coupe in stock last week when I was in .Worth noting that all the well priced V12VSM ex-demo cars suddenly seem to have gone (presumably sold) from the official AM used website. No real idea on spec or price , might be worth a ring for anyone interested .

Absolutely ! Not panicked in the slightest. Even if it is the "popular" colour, it means there are only a handful with the colour anyway due to the rarity of the car. I am actually yet to see another V12V out on the road - irrespective of colour. It's the best colour for me.

New stock is rarely if ever listed on any website, you need to call the dealer direct. By silly money I think Nick is referring to the RRP, rather than anything over RRP.
Absolutely. Some guys on here have secured stunning deals on either new or demo cars yet some dealers seem to think they can secure RRP for cars they hold in stock.Buster73 said:

There should be a deal to be done on that one. It's been in the showroom since at least May. I was talking to the gentleman who specced it when a few of us had a run out from AM Newcastle. He had ordered the car but when he subsequently drove AM Newcastle's demonstrator he couldn't get the hang of the 7 speed gearbox, which I found surprising bearing in mind he's an orthopaedic surgeon and I'm a ham fisted layabout that bonded with the gearbox in less than 10 miles. No real idea on spec or price , might be worth a ring for anyone interested .

They've got a superb Alloro green one on display as well , except the list price is £180 k +McClaren money imho.

Orthopaedic surgeons are an unsubtle midway between carpenters and blacksmiths so this comes as no surprise to me whatsoever Alternative analogy. Orthopaedic surgeons are like rhinos. They're thick-skinned, horny and charge a lot.
