Yes I remember the "dog eats Aston" story from a number of years ago. Unfortunately for our two, that is one avenue of pleasure they are denied.

I find dogs great at bringing you down to earth. You may buy them a fancy garden patio lounger and they lay on the ground; buy them a great new dinosaur themed toy and they are fixated with a stick they found.

Just love them.
