Vantage GTE Sculture
Discussion
As this year is the swan song for the current V8 Vantage GTE Pro car in the World Endurance Championship (WEC), I thought I'd mark its passing with something special to remember it by.
I commissioned Dave Clark to make a sculture of the car in its current AMR colour & livery. The horizontal strip above the windscreen denotes number 97 that won this year's 24 hours of Le Mans, but more importantly, it's a tribute to the designers, drivers, the team & supporters of all the Vantage GTE cars since it started racing in 2012.
The sculpture is laser-cut alloy painted in Sterling Green with AMR livery. The base is carbon fibre wrap.
Dimensions:
1/12th (360mm)
Base 450mm x 225mm
He also makes 2 other sizes.
Dave produces some utterly breathtaking automotive artwork, as well as bespoke commissions. I think it's a fabulous piece & will remind me of just what a fabulous car this is for many years to come.

(BTW there are no backhanders for me!).
