Vantage Coupe to Roadster
Discussion
Congratulations! That looks a lovely car.
I also went from a coupe (4.7) to a roadster (n420).
Pros for me are - roof off driving is great! It's a much better sense of occasion.
Cons - even with the sports exhaust, the roadster is definitely quieter from the driver's seat (roof up). I think there is less 'echo' in the cabin than there was in the coupe. Or the soft top absorbs alot of noise. I've recently fitted decats and still can hardly hear it...
Couple more minor rattles/shakes due to the lack of roof, but nothing major.

Interesting - I've also found it quieter/less boomy with the roof up, but think I prefer it; I can still hear the exhaust nicely on a spirited run, but it's quieter on the motorway. My roadster has fewer dash rattles than my coupe, but I think it's luck of the draw; I never managed to hunt the rattles on my last one down!
Nice job OP, car looks good.
Another Roadster covert here, albeit V12V. I'm the same as others have mentioned that the shift gives new impetus and enthusiasm to ownership with few downsides. Perhaps only roof operation anxiety and less luggage space being worthy of a mention. I find the quiet cruising with roof up is actually a bonus because with decats and roof-down it changes character significantly. Slightly softer suspension for 95% of the time is the clincher, there's a bit more lean in the corners but vast majority of the time the relative added comfort wins it for me.
50/50 on the lights fwiw, but given the ease with which you can swap them over, a month trial to see how you like them is no bad thing
