First few hundred miles were spectacular fun. Then the passenger window stopped working. Reset didn't do it. Needed a new module. Car at dealers for a day. Two days later the bonnet open warning comes on whilst on motorway. Then the alarm sounded through the next morning randomly. Checked everything. Eventually stopped. Next day all fine. Day after, alarm going off for an hour. Now sitting in Birmingham (here for work) waiting for emergency services to come out... I'm losing a little faith if I'm honest... Hopefully these gremlins pass...but if not I may throw the keys back :-(

My 10yr old DB9 Volante didn't have this many issues!
Interestingly, when I was at the factory last week, I was chatting to a friend who's a drivetrain engineer there. I mentioned how I felt the DB11 was a good 20 year leap forward from the technology in previous generations of GT cars, it just has a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes. My understanding is that it has a huge amount of tech in it that was planned to be introduced in a staggered fashion across different AM products, but a decision was made to build it all in from the start. The end result was some early cars having random niggles (no two cars having the same faults if you talk to the guys at dealers tasked with ironing out of the bugs). I wouldn't lose faith yet, the car is a wonderful bit of kit; once it's back to normal, 2 minutes in Sport+ will make the gremlins a distant memory
Feel for you. The latest car, at a considerable price, but understand that you are losing confidence in everyday reliability.
I am wondering whether some of the failures that you mention, might be some of the same components that AM have used on their previous models. Window module perhaps. If so, then I also feel for AM, because they are being let down by their suppliers.

Sounds like dodgy German wiring to me
Seriously though, insist on getting everything replaced to your satisfaction at no more inconvenience to you, then I'm sure you'll be back to the early days of loving every minute in the car.
Customer service under Andy Palmer seems to have improved no end, and I'm sure he would personally be interested in your experiences. They will fix it. Then brilliant times ahead!

Did AP sign it off? tweet him and I think he will act.I had a similar experience with one of the early current vanquish, she was literally in and out of the dealer for the first year over and over again with some quite shoddy problems, electrical, paintwork, leatherwork, build etc etc. AM were supposed to be tracking all issues as it was their flagship but despite 10 visits to the dealer who had to involve factory engineers, I didn’t receive a single call. I did put a formal complaint in which resulted in being offered a PDC foc which several years on I’m still trying to get them to honour...
It actually scarred what had been a wonderful experience with the previous Vantage and i stepped away from the brand for 3 years.
I hope you get your gremlins sorted and go on to have a fantastic ownership but if it continues get your money back, I wish I had done exactly that....

Its an Aston (well apart from the merc bits!) it's not a flaw it is called "Character"
Have to say my Vanquish then Vanquish S both had similar problems when I got them and each time they were dealt with very well with the factory sending people to my house on 2 occasions and collecting in a covered transport the other time. Didn't ask about a courtesy car as it isn't a DD for me anyway but I was impressed with how quickly AM reacted and the actions taken
