Our Carbon Blacks are just beautiful !

Love your car D1FDS!
Thank you. I have never seen a Carbon Black in "real life" but I bet it looks stunning. The V12 Vantage in black really suits the cars lines.

The wheels look great. It's really transformed it to stealth. Are they the lightweight AMR 20" wheels?

Congratulations on your new V12S Roadster, delivered today?
I had to laugh at it being on the "old Vantage" thread, when its only hours old.

no they are BC forged 20", RZ05 from Redpants off here, nice wheel and not as expensive as the AMR ones by a long way

Thank you, yes finally got it today. Had the roof down for 100 dirty miles!

Very happy to be on the old Vantage thread. I'm sure I'll end up with some variant of the new one at some point, but for me right now, it just doesn't get any better!

Now definitely a keeper - the proportion are (in my opinion) perfect and after five years I still love it...

In ten years or so, i think these cars will be regarded high.

The Vantage isn't a mass produced car. You almost never see one. It's not a Porsche, a BMW or a Mercedes. It's an exotic, just like a Ferrari or a Lamborghini.

No one says about the old Gallardo: wow, look at that old piece of sh!t. The Ferrari F430 is over 10 years old, and when you see one, you turn your head to take a good look. The Ferrari 550 still looks just as beautiful as it did twenty years ago.

And in my opinion, you can't compare the Vantage to the DB7. Only people who are really into cars know about the DB7. The average guy thinks that it's a Jag.

Imagine my surprise on Sunday when I joined the motorway and slotted into the 70ish road train behind a carbon copy of my car, was really interesting to see what 'my car' looks like on the move. driving
Followed him all the way to my turn off at Donington, unfortunately (or not as it was a horrid damp day) not for the trackday that was on but a meeting.
