1980 Aston Martin Lagonda with a 1975 5.3:

Perfect London gangsta hack.

What's in that boot?

Great alternative to a QP Masser or 450 SEL.

I love that engine.

Chrysler TorqueFlite is a gem. Not for the large folks: I (1.86m) almost touched the ceiling!

1975 was part of the name of the company following its resurrection in 1975.

Is it a myth or was there a year (1975) with zero AM production due to a strike/series of strikes?

Look at the chassis plate as well - my V8 (1977) has "1975" stamped (sorry, hand-crafted) into it with letter punches alongside "Aston Martin"

Looks like a delay between owners rather than industrial problems.

I cannot remember the figures to hand, but it was something like 7 cars one year (1975??). Mind you, in the early 90s when they were still very much in business it was something like 19 cars. Remember that next time someone says they dislike the DB7....
