I'll be coming, with the AMOC Area 13 group. Will be in a gold DB7 - it's a bit of a strange colour but, as I'm only aware of one other in the same shade, it works well to be able to say 'come and say hello' if you see me with it. I'll be in a red AMOC logoed coat, possibly with a hat + scarf as well, if it is going to be as cold as last time!

David Lewington, the AMOC Director for Publications, is also coming along.

It would be great to catch up with some of you and perhaps hear what we, as a Club, can do to encourage you along to some of our events, or perhaps put some joint events on.

All the best

Anne Reed
AMOC Chairman

Hi Anne, looking forward to seeing you again and congratulations on your recent "appointment".

Some Area 20 stalwarts will be making up a part of the PH group as well as "Red10".

Kind regards, Tim (LBS)

Red 10 was an amazing draw on the Club stand at the London Classic Car Show in February, and Humphrey was just as amazing. It will be good to see them both again.

All passes printed.

Gutted about the current weather forecast, currently it looks like rain all day, sorry to say I won't be coming along if forecast doesn't change frown

I have also heard from some other "fine weather" friends who now won't be attending.

I understand there will now be some spare rooms at The Balmer Lawn Hotel if anyone wants them.

It's only water !!!!!!!! smile

See you there - hopefully we won't need something like the 1940s DB4 to help us get home!

Skin is waterproof as is beautiful metal!!!
Really looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow.
Forgive the request, but I've got some members of the RAF Benevolent Fund coming down to do some fundraising, so please raid your piggy banks, check behind the sofa etc & bring some change (& notes) to put in the buckets - it's all for a fabulous cause.
Thanks &, until tomorrow .......

Hi again,

just been in contact with the organisers and they have had a lot of people cancelling ?!?!?

Because of the weather forecast they are also expecting fewer Astons to turn up on the day so the pressure on space and the need to get there really early is lessened somewhat.

So we (and especially Lady S) can have a more leisurely breakfast can I suggest we change our departure and be ready to leave Balmer Lawn at 0930 - the public aren't allowed in until 1000 hours so as long as we are in place before that everything's fine.

Stay dry !!!!!!

I claim the 1st photo of the meet, even though it’s strictly cheating before the day. Mr & Mrs Minglar’s stunning V12V in the car park of the Balmer Lawn Hotel, thought we’d stop by to catch some tea & see who’s around.j
There’s only a 50% chance of rain! smile

If you decide to depart a little later I might join up with you. I'm leaving home in Reading shortly after 8am, and Balmer Lawn is only a 10 minute detour.

The forecast was for rain all morning today, but it was warm and bright with just some occasional showers, so the optimist in me is still expecting to have the roof down on the drive there smile
