Autocar have picked up on it too, although it may just be a quick rehash of the same story. I guess we will find out tomorrow morning when the Q1 figures are also released.

and Felisa is replacing him.CAR's sources point to a wholesale change at the top of Aston:
Former Ferrari CEO and Aston Martin Lagonda advisor Amedo Felisa to step in as interim chairman
Roberto Fedeli, another former Ferrari hotshot, to take over as full-time CEO by 1 July
Other Italian R&D high-fliers like Carlo della Case expected to join the team
Marek Reichmann retained as chief creative officer for design continuity

The leak of the Moers storm suggests the figures will be dire and AM wanted to be out with something to limit the pain?

Why not get some new blood on the design side.... I'm tired of all the "wolf" analogies and busy designs with Marek. Time for someone else to have the creative reigns.
Possibly, but the designs they have are the designs they have for the time being. And most are quite near the start of their lifecycle?Really not sure how the market will react to these numbers and the news on Moers. Wholesales have dropped yoy but revenue is up. Yet again though, losses are worse, and the debt level has increased. The debt is what seems to worry investors. What is also somewhat concerning is that Stroll vehemently denied a new CEO was in the pipeline a few months ago, although I guess that’s par for the course nowadays! My gut feeling is that the shares will get sold off today. We shall see.

Only 3 months, so there may be some specific comparison circumstances involved.
A couple of items that stand out;
Loss before tax - Increased.
DBX sales - considerably reduced. I think 2022 is the second full year of production.
(As we know, this model range is intended to be the main money maker.)

Share price up ~100p this am on the news
Yes, a decent rally so far today. It looks like the market is in approval of the structural management changes. The Q1 2022 data seems to have faded in to the background a bit, although to be fair at the last release we were warned that this quarter would be the worst one of 2022. Best wishes and good luck to Tobias Moers for whatever he does in the future.Best Regards

The figures for the DBX are disastrous.
Half that of the year prior when Covid was rife.
The dealers took the cars (wholesale) and simply haven’t been able to sell them hence why repeat business simply is shocking.
Selling 5000 a year is never ever going to happen.
Those new guys will reset the targets so they are hit but the original BP is history I’m afraid.

Must confess, I remain sceptical about DBX but actually saw one on the road yesterday. First time in many months.Half that of the year prior when Covid was rife.

707 may boost numbers but they need to be shifting the “entry” ones too.

Me no comprehende. If you go back on this thread there was some talk about a certain poster on the LSE board who hates Stroll, literally has a negative view on pretty much everything AM do, dismisses all the financials etc etc etc. The post is citing the guys user name on that forum, and he is also on the ADVFN forum under a different one. Has he finally signed up for the AM PH forum under another ID? Who knows, and quite frankly I don’t really care, but if you get bored, have a look at the LSE page today. I can’t remember a day where there have been so many posts about the same old stuff again, again and again…….
