Don’t sell it - Vantage’s are going to appreciate steeply in value over the next 18 months as the new model comes on stream smile:

I feel this way too, and it's yet another reason I'm so reluctant to let it go. But being abroad and leaving it unused in SORN status doesn't feel at all right. It deserves to be driven.

When I sold my DB9 I was VERY sad to see it go, especially watching it drive away down the road!
I can imagine! I will be giving handover duty to father in law if someone does drive it away...

Thanks smile Corsica was amazing to drive through. Lovely twisty mountain forest roads with very few other cars. Sardinia seemed extraordinarily tame in comparison. Spent six weeks on the road, and fully intend to repeat the experience if life eventually permits.

Confused, though, why can't you keep the car with a child on the way? I have a child on the way and no way would I sell the Vanquish S!

Good luck smile.

Suppose you have 2+2 whereas the OP only has 2. Not sure how a rear facing baby car seat would fit in the back though.

Fair point! I guess OP probably uses it as DD where many don't. Hadn't really thought that far ahead but I'm kinda hoping a baby won't fit anyway, saves a problem cleaning puke off the car!

Or an alternative would be to permit/insure FIL to use car while still offered for sale, saving having to SORN the car.
If it sells, cash in the bank.
If it doesn't sell, car still being kept fresh (and FIL could arrange a service as well) then maybe realise a better sale price in the spring.

That's actually a pretty good idea! Am at the airport now, so it's remaining mine for now - hooray. Giving FIL such duty will win valuable brownie points, so this could all work out rather well...! Thanks for the suggestion smile
