If it was a viable business I’m sure it will be re-opened after the insurance is sorted.

Hope it was insured, the fire engine had to follow the snow plough up the cafe, agree, need another place until sorted or just take a flask up there

The pub on the corner where the road winds over a bridge (cant remember the name of the hamlet) on the road halfway between Middleton and Alston does a fair toastie (as well as a full menu) and they have a large beer garden at the rear with plenty of parking. I have stopped there on the bike a couple of times when the sun is shining.

Yes thats the one! I dont think theres much else around there. There was a nice cafe in Middleton just on the way through with parking outside but the last time I went through it had closed down.
