I just want to take this opportunity to thank HWM Weybridge Aston Martin for being amazing today.

To be Specific, Matthew Allan (service manager) and Guy Jenner (MD)

So I have dear friend who I have known for many years who lost her sister last year to cancer at only 40 years old leaving a 14 year old daughter called Amie... Without going into any detail Amie's dad isn't really interested in her at all and she has taken the loss of her mum in a really really bad way as you can imagine......

Amie has a real love for cars and because of this I was asked to pick her up in my Aston from school on her birthday which was today. Now unfortunately my car has been in for some warranty work and a clutch which means my car wasn't going to be available to do this...

So on the off chance I asked at Weybridge if they would be able to lend me a car for the day so I could fulfill my promise... To my surprise and without question or any hesitation they agreed.

As a result of this they helped brighten up a dark day for Amie, her 1st birthday without her mum... From what I have been told tonight she has not stopped talking about it all evening.

So a massive thank you to them for making this happen.

Fantastic of HWM of Walton to do this, I know of them as I work in the area; a dealership just down the road from them.

Isn't sharing the Aston a wonderful thing, I think I get more of a kick out of people enjoying the car just as much as me!

That's a lovely thing to have done on both your part and that of Aston Martin Walton on Thames.

Well done.

Your reference to Amie's father brought a tear to my eye. However, it was so good that you (and HWM) could provide a happy occasion for her to enjoy.

As already mentioned, our cars can give pleasure to many people, not just the owners. That must be very rare in the motor car world.

Great story, thankyou for sharing.

I think its all too easy to forget how fortunate we are to have cars like these. I took my friend and his 11YO son out for a ride just before Christmas. I was gobsmacked when the mother told me in January that his school essay ‘what was the best thing about his holidays’ was dedicated to going out in the Aston. No mention of the Christmas presents lol.
