Le Mans 2018 Help

I am planning to travel to Le Mans in my friends camper van.
He lives in Woburn Sands and I will travel down from Glasgow to meet up with him.

Can anyone who has been previously been give the best travel advice and suggestions for a location to camp at the track.

I always find people who have been to a location before can give the best advice based on their experience

I would appreciate any advice.

The PH secure camp sites are popular.

PH Bleu Nord good and expensive and secure with food and good toilets and close to track. Village by the curves private site also good a bit further away but has trackside viewing. Public sites near these cheaper - there's also some review sites like beermountain and clubarnage to have a look at as they do reviews of sites and/or guides.

We do Porsche Curves run by Travel Destinations (https://traveldestinations.co.uk/motorsport-events/le-mans-24-hours/).

Private campsite and security, completely ring fenced, private viewing area at Porsche Curves, beer tent, hot showers and clean toilets, highly recommended.

We've blown the wad this year & decided on Flexotel (also run by Travel Destinations). They are expensive but I couldn't face sleeping under canvas & Philippa wouldn't!!!!

Humphrey, you have just cost us quite a bit of money Just booked up for this years Le Mans on a similar basis. Similar to you wanted to stay at the track but not do under canvas. Thanks for highlighting Flexotel, just what we were looking for. Really nice people to deal with and with doing N24 with AMR and this it is going to be a summer to remember!
