Is it just mine or is the basic radio CD player in the 2007 crap.
I’ve tried both aerials standard fit and a stubby, but the radio stations keep losing station and it’s pretty crap at re aquiring
I’ve got James at aston installations to link up my phone with the bovi and Bluetooth etc. But that’s only any good if the phone signal is strong,
Anybody any ideas.

It might just be yours - my 2006 is pretty good with the radio (in fact, I'd say better than my other 3 cars).

My 2012 Roadster is crap too...the worst radio reception Ive had in a car since a 70s MGB.

The stubby antenna made it worse in my 2006 coupe.

I think an antenna booster would work, they are less than £10 and plug in line with the antenna feed. However getting to the antenna cable is the tricky part. Have a look in the workshop manual for your car. In my Roadster the cable is behind the nearside rear wheel arch, so need to remove wheel, liner etc and have find it. It could be as simple as antenna cable not plugged in fully/vibrated loose.

The radio reception in my V8VR was great and then it suddenly became poor at times. I then realised it was only bad when my new camera was plugged in.

I asked James about this when he installed my cameras, so it was rubbish before he fitted them , I tried a stubby aerial, but is still the same. sounds like a cable check or booster is the way to go ,
Thanks guys

A known issue with most Astons, really crap radio reception. My DB9 is virtually unusable so I just use discs now.
