Used Roof Module DB9

Does anyone know if i plugged in a USED but working roof module into my DB9 - would it work without re flashing the ECU?

I know i can buy a new one and get flashed but i simply want to test to see if my module has indeed gone as i suspect by plugging in a proven module?

For anyone interested

A second hand module does work without flashing the module.

Down side it didn’t fix my issues.

Roof does exactly the same thing and the lid doesn’t lock down so I am now going to remove the 2 motors that lock the roof down as they are my last guess as to the issue.

Glad I didn’t buy a new module 🤪
