I'm looking for 7sp V12VS and can't seem to find anything. Where is the favoured place to advertise used Aston Martin's?

How many 7sp S's were built in the end?

I think there’s only one available at the moment at AM Cambridge. It’s basically new and has the AMR power upgrade and body kit, so is v pricey.

There are always a few on PH or Astonmartin.com

No idea how many were built but more than normal of last years production were manuals.

I have been looking for a while; I would expect a few more to come on as people get the new Vantage.

Across AM, PH and autotrader, three coupes and three roadsters. Some AMRs though for quite a bit more money.

Not many at all is the answer. There will be more amongst the final 100 AMR as they’re much more of a collectors car. But even then maybe 35 are in the U.K., some are Sportshift and most of the manuals are “keepers” (cf The Three Amigos).

There’s a reason why 2-3 of the V12 AMR Owners are comfortable putting their cars up for sale we’ll over list

I recently brokered one of the Spitfires, with 7 speed manual ‘box and 5,000 miles, for £225,000. Deal was done without marketing the car and is now in the hands of a delighted new owner. I accept our demo looks expensive, but it’s a big saving on cost new.

According to the how many left website there are 81 V12 Vantage S 7 speed manual coupes registered in the UK.

What is it a demo for?

Did the new owner get a Spitfire Flight? They were wonderful looking cars Simon.

What is you opinion of the value of a standard V12VS 7Sp Coupe?

I think it should be kept personal what people paid for their cars (unless the buyer chooses to publish it) - it is a public forum afterall.

I don’t think it’s a problem Simon saying how much he sold a car for. It’s not as though he’s breaking Doctor-Patient confidentiality.

It’s only a car sale, and I’m sure the buyer’s wife doesn’t even read Pistonheads.

It was our last car, I decided to register it and write it down over a few months to soften the pain a bit when it goes to a new home. Plus it’s been fun to have a go out in a car with all the AMR bits fitted, especially the exhaust.

Thanks!

No flight but he did get all the bits we supplied with the car originally. They are a lovely thing to just look at.

My view on 7spd man is that the volume of cars produced was tiny, they are the last and bestof the V12 Vantage and I think it’s only a matter of time before prices stabilise and then start to increase. We have seen the curve from depreciation to appreciation shorten with DBS and original Vanquish. Will be interesting to see how demand for these cars affects their value in coming years.
