Don't quite get the 'hairdresser mota' comment TBH. Aston Martin? hairdresser? Lost on me.
Agree the hedgefinder bit.
Mac, I rather think it was a tongue in cheek reference to an Aston convertible mate Agree the hedgefinder bit.
Sorry, Volante
Yer old mucker,

That looks absolutely mint! Which is great for you but shocking value for the previous owner. I put 8k on mine in 10 months and saw much of Europe in it - life is too short! I hope you have many a glorious experience in such a stunning car.
I had a TVR too (V8S). It snapped its throttle cable in Malmö - these things are behind you in an Aston

I still have a very nice 1975 (tax free) Triumph Stag sat on the DB9's left so still have a choice. V8 or V12. The Stag might be old but she makes a lovely sound and is a lovely relaxed cruiser.
I loved my TVR but sadly Mrs C didn't which meant it often got left behind.
You never know if I get the space I might get another

I don't understand. Why do you have to get rid of the TVR? It's great to open the garage door and say "which car do I want to take today"? The bright yellow loud TVR or the refined Chiltern green DB7?
Pleased for you but, some can't afford both? or don't have the room maybe? Myself, I sold my TVR to get the very best Aston I could, didn't want to settle for less This might be the biggest contradiction EVER... I loved my Cerbera and the attention you'd HAVE to give it. but since getting the Aston and with every TVR mate post I see about heat issues, funny noises and niggles etc... I am extremely happy I no longer have that amount of "quirkiness"
