With access to Waze & Google Maps coming with iOS 12 in September, this is the Holy Grail (Unless you have an Android phone of course biggrin)!!! Cable connection to enable charging.

His previous solution didn't do enough to entice me, but this would be a must-buy.

Interested also but I don't get why prices cannot just be set and advertised rather than 1 to 1 emails. Always puts me off in the same was a POA sign does.

If someone gets a price can they post it up here please, save us sending 15 emails asking the same question. wink

I suspect one of the reasons the price is not yet advertised is that the product is brand new.

Knowing James pretty well he is always trying to improve whatever product he launches. One of those improvements is always cost.

My guess is if he gets 300 orders as opposed to 3 the price will reflect this.

He will never become a gazillionaire on this basis but he really doesn't care.

What he cares about most is providing us with the best products at the best prices.

Give him a go. You will never meet a nicer bloke.

BTW my car has Car Play and a reversing camera so nowt to be made from me. rolleyes

+1. I would probably do this if the price was sensible.

There is an android version too. I think James offers that too as it was an option when I upgraded

I'd have this if the price is sensible also.

Again, the agro of not just knowing a price puts me off.

Thank you to everyone that has shown interest in our new project.

As Nick says, it is new and we are still proving it. Thanks to social media and Humphrey, we now have an idea that it IS worth developing further and getting it absolutely right. Along with a few other ideas we are working on. Apologies to all of those people who have sent an email into us, I will get back to you personally, but I have spent much of today taking a V8 to pieces.

Installations will be taking place at our new premises in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. 5 minutes from Junction 9 of the M5, the other reason for us being slightly busy at the moment, getting this sorted. As soon as I am happy with the kit I will add it to this thread and update our FB page, Website, twitter etc. I will also write to those that have sent emails in.

Cost, good question. As Nick says, if only 3 orders come in, it's not worth us taking the time to work on it. We still have some finessing to do on it and testing to ensure it is of the quality we want. I would put a ball park figure on it of £949 inc VAT, fitted.

I hope there will also be an Android version as well in the near future.

Please understand we are business owners, developers, installers and we also have a families. Sometimes we can't always respond as quickly as we would like to enquiries and threads. This is one of the reasons for coming off the road a little and having fixed premises. It will allow us more time to install kit and develop more ideas rather than spending hours stuck in the van. We will still have a mobile installation service but we will group visits together to minimise travelling too much, so that may take a little longer to arrange visits. We will also be able to offer a collection and delivery service or drop off at the train station or take into Cheltenham for shopping for the time we have your car. We also have enough space to store a number of cars should the need arise.

All the best,

James

No idea if it's the same sort of thing, but the guys in Maserati circles have done something that looks similar:

http://www.sportsmaserati.com/index.php?threads/fi...

Overall costs not dissimilar.

AIUI the base kit should allow Android use so all things are becoming possible smile
