Weird Rear Parking Sensor Issue

Evening all..

Ok so My 07 DB9 has an odd problem with the rear parking sensors and was wondering if anyone else has done this, if so was there a fix?

When I go into reverse (its a non manual) sometimes my rear parking senors would go crazy as if I'm about to reverse into something... but nothing is there...

As I said its only sometimes so its a 50/50 chance of it doing it. Its pretty annoying, the temporary solution when it does it, is to obviously press the parking sensor button as it turns them off.

Front ones there is no issue at all...

Often water ingress, try giving the sensors on the bumper a few minutes of breeze from a hairdryer to warm them through and dry out any moisture.

I experienced that too, it was a cracked sensor.

A DIY fix if you are able to do the easy end of car repair... 😀

Hi there, this could either be the park aid module, it may have water ingress or it could be water getting into the park aid sensors causing them to do weird things
