Believe it will be usual for AMOC, discounted tickets if book be end of March and drive in to circuit to tarmac carpark area next to Ferrari, an AMOC stand/gazebo and free teas and coffees. Good event and a bonus driving in as it's huge. On th minus you don't get a trackside site like JEC etc but it is flat tarmac as opposed a slopey grassy bank.
If there's some special anniversary a set of cars gets a very slow parade lap (unlike the Le Mans Classic ones )
I thought an Aston Martin Heritage Racing Festival Series race had been added to the programme with a Sunday race and a Friday quali spot.

Emailed the AM Quarterly publication a couple of weeks ago as I'm after a photo they had in one of the mags. Got a "read receipt".
Not heard another thing.
I believe it's only courteous to respond to genuine requests.
I emailed the Netherlands arm of the AMOC as well, actually asking about joining. Heard nothing back, doubt I'll bother again. Not heard another thing.

Too many knobs on there in red trousers.
I had 3 Astons at one point (well, two and a half) and used to visit the site. Soon got bored with the people on there.
LMAO. I totally agree. That club has only one agenda and that is to preserve their long standing black tie dinner club nights and wife swapping antics at all those posh stuck up places they always use to have their gatherings at which are probably owned my most of them anyway looking for income to keep them running to the detriment of honest hard working class folk who can now afford to buy an Aston Martin which they hate. Elitists dicks the lot of them. They charge a stupid amount of money each year to " belong " so to speak and then loads more money on top of that to attend the events they put on which can add up to a tidy sum for some owners and when you arrive some prick wearing red trousers and a white coat and silly hat and a Muttley the dog medal dangling off the coat guides you down a muddy wet track on to freshly cut grass to the concours area where you then get docked points for having grass inbetween your tyre treads. LOL.I had 3 Astons at one point (well, two and a half) and used to visit the site. Soon got bored with the people on there.
And they claim to be a stylish club. NOT. The ones who run it have an agender and its just for their personal gains and nothing else.

I’d rather someone just said what needed saying rather than sit on the fence like this bloke. And they claim to be a stylish club. NOT. The ones who run it have an agender and its just for their personal gains and nothing else.

Perhaps with the new vantage demographic the wife swapping could be given another chance?
If one turned up in one's finest red chinos, whilst driving a Lime Essence coloured new Vantage, that'd be a talking point On a serious note, I was tempted to join the AMOC, but being a bit younger than the average owner, along with having a Gaydon era Vanquish, I'd probably not fit in very well. A shame really, as the direction the marque is heading, it probably needs an injection of youth in the AMOC to get with the times somewhat, but it doesn't sound like there's the appetite to get with the times at all.
The AMR Academy on the other hand, I'm all over that

I see you are in the SW Jon. I have been in AMOC for 10 years now, 7 as Area Rep for Devon and Cornwall, and have to say if you turned up in a non Gaydon Aston to one of our events you would definitely be in the minority. The current Area Rep for Bristol and Avon drives a DB9 and the one for Devon/Cornwall drives a V8V. You will see from my profile that I am a serial Gaydon owner and know your Vanquish would not be out of place at all.The AMR Academy on the other hand, I'm all over that
It saddens me to see how people view AMOC because I have made many friends through it. I attend the type of events that I like, make friends with the people I get on with and ignore the things I don’t like. There haven’t been that many of those. Just a different perspective.
