Quite,it amazes me how most people seem to think that Porsches are built proof. Even the later GT3 cars have a terrible engine reputation.

I have owned ten Porsches and i think my Aston is better built.
When I told the chaps on the 911 forums that I was thinking of an Aston, they all warned me about the reliability issues with the typical "Yes you've had to replace 5 Porsche engines over the years (as well as countless suspension parts, condensers etc) but the Aston will be worse" response.

How wrong they were.
I've put a few thousand miles on the Aston, driven it across Europe, used it come rain or shine and all without a single fault.

My first hoon in an Aston was back in 2012 when Simon organised this:-

Many friendships were formed on this trip and to this day they still exist. Since then I've lost count of how many more hoons we have collectively done. What I do know is the collective mileage runs into hundreds of thousands, most of those miles being driven pretty spiritedly driving

The other thing I know, with the exception of one puncture, is that every single car has returned without fault.
