Intermittent boot closing issue with V8V MY16

Problem popped again during drive out to country shops on Saturday. Usually picks it's moment like very early am in Le Mans campsites when trying to leave quietly for a trip out or when shutting bootlid in public.

Boot lid not shutting properly - seems to bounce up too much and then requires a double click to re-release for another go. Did spray lubricant a while back but still a pain now and again. Seems to shut OK if dropped from exactly the right height but can take 2 or 3 goes.

Is this a one off? or are there any fixes before next scheduled service in 10 weeks or so.
