Is that a cardboard cutout of Timothy Dalton?

Interesting, thanks.

Couple of questions: how much power does it use when running (lots of numbers given on the spec sheet - http://www.appliancesdirect.co.uk/pdf/ELQ-split-ai... ) to give your 9p per hour figure (what are you paying for electricity kWh)?

Even though QC, doesn’t it still require F-gas-qualified installation to keep the warranty?
some added info
i have an energy monitor on the supply , changed it to read Kw ( instead of £) today , the power used is 0.6kw, when heating to 16 degrees low fan speed

also if the power is removed , ie switched off at plug, when powwer is returned unit automatically restarts in mode and temo it was in when power was removed

therefore should be easy to to conect a thermostat between plug and unit to activate if/when temp drops below say below 5 degrees and off again at 10 degrees, with the addition of a central heating controller in the circuit i can programmes timed on and off period

or , as someone else mentioned for slightly more can have remote control from Hive or similar

But as i have an old and working thermostat and cenral heating controller in one of my boxes of bits , i think Ill try that first

Note the fanned dry air from the unit dries car beautifully after washing !
