Iv just purchased a facelift 2015 Vantage v8 coupe (I’ll post some pictures once I take delivery this week).

I believe I require the AM4v2 pads? Can someone confirm this or advise which ones I require.

Thanks in advance for any advice.
Did you get your car and can you post some pictures of the jacking points?

Pads will hopefully be delivered this week and I can confirm the fitting.

I received my jacking pads today, as I flew off to Dublin for a few days. Rather an elongated process due to the draconian Swiss customs that often insist on proof of purchase returned by mail that slows delivery down, and then adds 30 quid in tax to the 59GBP pads. bds.

Evening all. Just wanted to check if anyone out there has a V12VS Coupe (mine's a 2016) and could confirm if the AM4v2 jacking pads fit correctly?

I asked Steve and Mary over e-mail and they thought the AM4v2 would fit but suggested that I check on here to see if anyone could positively confirm.

Very grateful for any feedback.

Sorry, cannot answer your question Stu, but is there a supplier email address for me to see?

I photographed my (MY09 V8V) nearside jacking points, and found they are not exactly the same as in Andrew Froome's photos above (MY15 V8V).

Thank you.

Hi Dewi - I contacted Steve and Mary on 'cava.mar2@aol.co.uk' - hope that helps.

REAR JACKING POINT

FRONT JACKING POINT
For my 2009 V8V, the rear is identical.

However for the front, my car does not have the thick metal plate (attached by the bolt visible in the photo), which would mean a different contour for the jacking pad.

Previous comment has suggested that the strengthening plate was only fitted to the Roadster model, but Andrew's car is a 2015 Coupe.

Does anyone know whether this plate was fitted to Coupes, only after a particular date? Could it perhaps be MY 2012.25?

Dewi, you are mistaking the front jacking point in the photos for the rear and vice versa: Froomee´s car is a coupé, so the bolted on undertray shown in the picture is at the REAR, not at the FRONT - just like my 17MY Vantage S Coupé.

Yes, a roadster would have an additional undertray at the front as far as I know. The new AM4 Version 2 seems to reflect that in its modified front design.

For your MY2009 coupé you will probably need a different version than AM4. It´s simpler in your case, I guess. Mary & Steve should be able to answer this resp. take a look again at the pictures of the different versions. You will then see what´s right.

Thank you Emilio.
With so little space under the car to take photographs, it was an annoying exercise and as you say, I obviously became confused.
Will have another look, than contact the suppliers. My new low lift trolley Jack is due here soon.

Yes - You have the pictures the wrong way round the oval one is the back and the round one is the front. smile

Evening all,

Reading up on previous posts, these jacking pads sound good, I've had a scroll through but couldn't find if these fit a DBS?

Cheers

Apologies. Yes labels wrong way round.

Therefore, referring to the rear jacking point with the oval rubber hole, what is the bolted substantial metal plate for?
It is not fitted on my MY2009 Coupe, and neither is there a threaded hole in the position where the bolt is shown.
Could it be an item which was only fitted to later cars?

Yes, I believe so, but don´t know any further.

I tried my re-worked AM4 version 1 pads last weekend on my car and was relieved to find they now fit. I could now take the car to a bodyshop and get my rusting rear brake disc hubs donefurious

I believe the plate is fitted to roadsters, v12 vantages (all years) and v8 vantages after 2012.5.
