Just got a set for my DB9 complete with holding pouch. Look like nicely made bits of kit, no occasion to use them just yet!

Anyone got an updated email address. I emailed them on the address mentioned on here several months ago and haven't received a response.

I corresponded several times using I think, that email address.
Their responses were quicker than my replies!

Possibly a small family firm, so maybe on summer holiday.
Am very pleased with the product, so worth you being patient.

Rubber jacking pads AM4 version 1 (rears cut to size by myself, so effectively version 2) in application on my 17MY V8 Vantage S Coupé at the main dealer:

Rear right hand side:

Rear left hand side:

As you can see they did touch the sill cover, but thankfully left no marks at all.

Front jacking pads AM4 version 1 no problems anyway.

Evening all. Purchased a set of the AM4v2 jacking pads a few months ago but only got round to using them today - worked perfectly on my 2016 V12VS Coupe. Now have clean wheel rims, arches and brake bits wink . Thoroughly recommended.

I also found the pads worked well.

Did your jack fit in place under the pads easily?
I had to first drive the car, to lift the wheel up on to a piece of timber.
Standard height V8V and low lift Sealey jack.

It made me rather concerned about what might happen in the event of a roadside puncture.
A flatbed lift to an AM workshop would seem wise, but whether rescue services would do
that I don't know. ACA - Alloy chassis anxiety.

Yes the jack pictured in my post fits under the pad when the pad was held in place with the spigot engaged in the receiving hole in the chassis. I think I measured the 'floor to pad base' height as around 100 mm and the jack minimum saddle height is 74 mm.

For reference the jack is a Sealey 2001 LE - works a treat.

Hope that helps.

While I have your attention (and sorry to other readers to stray off-topic), I was wondering if you would message me directly as I can't seem to message you through the PH website. You were kind enough to give me some info on my Grigio Titanio V12VS on 9th May this year based on the research you've done and I'd really like to know a little more about the other cars in this rare colour (including your V8V!). I think you can DM me through PH but if not and if you're happy to make contact let me know on the forum and I'll provide an e-mail address/phone number if that's allowed.... Thanks in advance.

Just to let Rapide owners know, Steve is now making me some Rapide jack pads for my son in law’s car.
Pads can now come with steel plates bonded to the base for extra durability. Steve can be contacted at cava.mar2@aol.co.uk.

Hello Stuart,

Sorry for my slow reply. Have only just seen your post.

Yes, I am quite happy to contact you. Will send a private message through PH. Please wait a little while, because I am away at present without any Grigio information.

From memory, I think there are now three of the seven (UK) V8V Coupe owners on this forum, one if not two in Scotland.

Hi All,

I only recently acquired my Aston (MY14 DB9) but could somebody explain these jacking pads to me? Are they an essential (i.e. a standard jacking plate will damage the vehicle e.g. sills) or nice to have item? I've done a bit of work on my cars over the years but yet to get under the DB9

I have tried looking through the posts. I have a 2009 DBS. Where can I get these pads? Before I cause any damage

Steve at Trolley Jack Adaptors is your man. His contact is cava.mar2@aol.co.uk. If he has got them for your specific model, I’ll bet he’ll make you some.
Absolutely a star man.

Have just received my set AM4v2 for the V12V (2010) Superb quality and service. Probably essential to keep in the car just in case of the need for roadside assistance. Tidy little bag too!
Good value too at around £15 a corner.
Many thanks Steve.

Just bought a set of these for a 2016 V8V, not tried them yet but obviously they fit as per previous replies. Steve, the manufacturer, is helpful and quick to reply. No brainer really, they will make lifting the car so much easier - buy some smile
