Rubber Jacking Pads Available
Discussion
Well decided to also get some of these Jacking pads with reading all the excellent right ups.
Trolly Jack Adapters (TJA) were very helpful in helping me make sure they were the correct ones across the 5 types.
Now they have been delivered (AM4v2) superb quality.
Even got a keep bag from them, so I can keep them all together in the boot in case of emergency.
Very Happy . Credit where credit is due.
Thanks Guys

Does anyone have any trolley jack recommendations (brand/model) and/or features a DB9 compatible trolley jack should have? minimum height clearance I'm guessing is the crucial one.
I use a Sealey Jack called:- Trolley Jack 1.5 tonne Low Entry Aluminium Rocket Lift, model number RJA1550.
Beautifully made but even though called low entry, when using jacking pads with obviously some additional thickness, the jack does not quite fit under the car (Vantsge). No problem though, because I just need to drive onto a sheet of 1 inch thick timber.

I use a SGS low profile jack on my db9 no issues.

Second the SGS jack - one of the best bits of kit in the garage and so much easier to use than my old short handled jack.
Interesting both you chaps should say so as i've been looking at the SFS low profile 89mm model: https://www.sgs-engineering.com/tjl2c-2-ton-low-pr... I see they (and others) have ultra-low profile jacks capable of going as low as 70mm but the price rockets. Is the 89mm model fine with jacking pads (if you use them)? @Soofsayer - i know you've got the DB9.2 as well

Had a quick look through my email to find the original order. TJL2 was the one I bought with the rubber jacking pads RPTJL2 and seems fine for clearance. I have had the wheels off/on with it which is the extent of my mechanical prowess lol. Hope that helps.
Thanks! That's a great help. Any worries whatsoever or are those rubber pads are totally fine for the plastic sill trims without the need for the bespoke £50 ones many on this thread are going for?magycks said:

I use the ones I bought from sgs and haven’t had any problems. You need to ‘feel and fit’ them in the right place and then it is fine, whereas these custom ones probably ‘slot’ into place, so to speak....just a thought... i have the fitted pads so the don't touch my plastic skirts, but more so if you are out on the road and for whatever reason Mr AA man wants to jack your car up...he isn't going to be so careful ... the fitted jacking pads are really for other people who don't value your pride and joy like you do.
