I have had a couple of weeks of email conversation, photographs and measurements on my MY18 V12S Roadster to get the jacking pads right. I have been hugely impressed by Steve's attention to detail and professionalism. Mine are in the post to me, already have the tracking number, but he has modified the AM4 pads for the V12 Roadster front jacking point which it appears are different, dependant upon which lower side skirts you have (i decided not to ask). The under tray fixing point is the bolt in the photograph. I will let you know when I have tried them. Stephen

callevascm’s pic shows the locating peg hole in the same place as mine, right at the edge of the sill mounting face. The pads supplied to me have the locating peg in the centre of the mounting face so does not fit as they foul the undertray

Do others cars have the locating peg hole in the centre?

Hi V8BJC l do not think your jacking points are different they look the same as my 2007 V8 Vantage Roadster.
If you look at the picture of my home made jacking pad on page one, you can see the dent in the rubber of the locating peg hole Which looks similar to your picture and slightly different to Steve’s AM4 pad hope that helps.
I will be trying to get a set of steve pads so l will contact him as well and try to be of some help as well.
Regards
Thanks two sheds.

In your home made pad pic the hole mark is in the centre of the face on which it sits. The pads i have received have the lug off to one side, the outer edge while the hole on my car is on the other side, the inner edge. Not sure if that makes any sense so anyone other than me.

Think I just need to send Steve pics and measurements of my car to when I can get under it with enough clearance for better pics.

Hi, I ordered AM4 pads for my 2010 roadster which arrived quickly and look great. Problem is they do not fit. Spoke with Steve this morning who was superb but surprised as he said other owners had them and they fitted perfectly. So, we are now trying to work out why my car is different.

Pics below show my front and rear jacking points and the pads. You can see that the locating pegs are in the wrong place on both and the shapes of rear one does not match the car. Does anyone else have these pads and a roadster which they fit? Do the mounting points on my car look the same as others?

Thanks in advance
Brian
Good news. Steve has identified that I need some different pads that he has worked on for another customer. Sent me some pics and they look like they will fit. There on their way to me now. Great to see people looking after us with these projects and Steve has been great in sorting me out. 👍

Only had a quick look and my rears also do not fit but I think it might just be a case of repositioning the locating peg

Will have a better look at the weekend

Hi think l may be the other customer that Steve spoke about l think Steve has ironed out all the problems that previous posts have had, the pictures below show the latest pads for Vantage Roadster with a recess for the stiffening panel, new angles and peg locations.
I can confirm the pads fit my 2007 Roadster like a glove and would assume that the Coup would be the same pad minus the recess.
The O-rings you can see fitted on the pegs are something which l added and l believe Steve might add as well, these grip in the location holes and enable the pad to stay locked while you locate your jack.

You are indeed the other customer that Steve mentioned. I thought that this was the case and Steve confirmed that in his last email to me. My pads are now on the way with the benefit of the work that you have been doing with Steve. I can’t thank you enough as this has negated the need for me to lift the car to get good measurements. I owe you a beer 🍺

If not sure which pads are needed always best to take photographs of jacking points, the easy way to take photograph is with forward facing lens so you can see what your doing.

Big vote of thanks to Steve, my jacking pads arrived yesterday and fit like a glove. A tough journey for him but the result is excellent. I have the AM4 ver 2 for my 2017 V12VSR, highly recommended. No link just a satisfied customer.

Hi,

a few weeks ago i ordered the Set AM4 from Steve, got the 4 pads and wondered why the front ones did not fit.
Some days later i read in this thread, that Steve got some incorrect information about the profile and size and it should be corrected now.
I wrote to Steve how to handle my problem with the wrong front pads, he answered few minutes later, that he sends out the correct new version for free.

That is customer satisfaction ! Big thanks to Steve, great partner.

Regards
Torsten
